Ancient Rome

I. Julius Caesar was a Roman politician and military general who played a significant role in the history of Rome. Born in 100 BC, Caesar was a member of the patrician family, and he began his political career as a quaestor in 69 BC.

II. Belisarius was a renowned Byzantine general who lived in the 6th century AD. He was born in Germane, a small town in Thrace (nowadays in Bulgaria), around 505 AD, and was raised in a modest family. Despite his humble origins, he would go on to become one of the greatest military leaders in Byzantine history, winning numerous battles and conquering vast territories.

III. Octavian Augustus, also known as Gaius Octavius or simply Augustus, was the first Roman emperor and one of the most influential figures in Roman history. He was born on September 23, 63 BC, in Rome, to a noble family. His father was Gaius Octavius, a senator, and his mother was Atia, the niece of Julius Caesar.

IV. Scipio Africanus, also known as Scipio the African, was a Roman general and politician who played a key role in the Second Punic War against the Carthaginian general Hannibal. Scipio was born in 236 BC in Rome, and he was a member of the Scipio family, which was one of the most influential families in Rome at the time.
